With the popularity of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ the Kardashian sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney all became familiar to viewers around the world. Interest in every word and action of each of the sisters grew to the point where even the smallest detail was newsworthy.
Kim Kardashian
Born Kimberly Noel Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, perhaps the most well-known of the 3 Kardashian sisters, came into the world on October 21, 1980. Though she has since become an extremely successful businesswoman, creating a clothing line and a beauty company, Kim’s entrance into the world of fame began as a friend of Paris Hilton. It was the release of a sex tape that really thrust Kim into the limelight in 2007, and the hit reality television show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ made her and her family famous worldwide.
Kim has worked hard to convince the world that she is more than just a beautiful television star and has succeeded in many ways, being considered one of the top social media influencers and a role model for young women wanting to start their own business. Amassing a huge following on the likes of Instagram and being featured regularly in magazine articles had proven that Kim is very adept at marketing herself, so much so that when she tied the knot with Kanye West in 2014 fans from around the world were desperate for all the details of the fairytale wedding.
Kim and Kanye have 3 children together, and she spends much of her time running her businesses, maintaining her presence on social media and of course being a mother and wife. Kim’s estimated worth in 2018 is $350M, much of her income coming from her recently launched cosmetic company KKW Beauty.
Khloe Kardashian
Born on June 27, 1984, Khloé Alexandra Kardashian has spent a large part of her adult life in television, starring in many shows that resulted from participating in the hugely successful reality show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ that featured her and the rest of her family. Khloe also participated in the second season of Donald Trump’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, and since 2016 has hosted her own talk show ‘Kocktails with Khloe’. She has also collaborated with her sisters on a book and hosted a radio show. Khloe has participated heavily in the fashion industry, and along with her sisters, launched a jewelry line and a clothing line. Together the sisters opened a number of clothing boutiques for their designer clothes.
In 2009 Khloe met basketball star Lamar Odom and shortly afterward the two married. The marriage lasted 7 years, during which the couple starred in their own reality television show ‘Khloe & Lamar’ and released two fragrances together. The two finalized their divorced in 2016 and Khloe entered a relationship with another basketball player Tristan Thompson. The two are still together and have a daughter True Thompson, born in 2018.
A car accident in 2001 resulted in Khloe Kardashian being thrown through the windshield, suffering a severe concussion. The traumatic brain injury caused her to suffer long-term memory loss. Khloe is estimated to be worth $40 million.
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Mary Kardashian was born on April 18, 1979, and rose to fame when her family was featured in their own reality television show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’. Like her sisters, Kourtney has grown a huge following on social media, with fans seeing her as an influencer, particularly in the beauty and fashion arenas. This is largely due to her collaboration with sisters Kim and Khloe in launching a jewelry line, clothing line, and fragrances.
Kourtney met and became romantically involved with Scott Disick in 2006, and despite conducting an on-again, off-again relationship for many years the couple are still together and are parents to 3 children. Kourtney is estimated to be worth $35 million.
